Summary of Impact in Fourth Quarter 2024

In the final quarter of 2024, our organization hosted a series of impactful events and training sessions, reaching a total of 434 individuals. Below is a breakdown of each event and its participation:

  1. Adaptive Swim – 15 participants
    A wonderful opportunity for individuals of all abilities to improve their swimming skills in an inclusive environment.

  2. BOSS Fall Semester – 37 participants
    A productive semester focusing on personal development and skill-building for participants in our BOSS program.

  3. CIC Friendsgiving – 15 participants
    A heartwarming celebration where community members gathered to share a meal and express gratitude.

  4. CIC November Pizza Night – 16 participants
    A casual social event that allowed individuals to connect over a relaxed evening of pizza and fun.

  5. Fall Inspiring Abilities Expo 2024 – 81 participants
    This annual expo highlighted the talents, abilities, and potential of individuals with disabilities, fostering awareness and inclusion.

  6. How Caregivers Can Secure the Future of Their Dependents (Training) – 5 participants
    A valuable session offering caregivers practical guidance on securing the future of their dependents with disabilities.

  7. Monster Mash Dance & Trunk or Treat – 185 participants
    A highly successful event filled with fun, costumes, and community spirit, bringing families together for a festive Halloween celebration.

  8. Santa Visit 2024 – 74 participants (19 families)
    A magical visit from Santa, spreading holiday cheer to 19 families in our community.

  9. Special Education: Understanding Your Rights and Responsibilities (Training) – 6 participants
    An informative session designed to empower parents and caregivers with essential knowledge about special education rights.

Overall, these events and training sessions provided a variety of opportunities for individuals to learn, connect, and celebrate, positively impacting the lives of 434 people in our community.
