Beth Gulley, Fire and Life Safety Educator at the Sugar Creek Township Fire Department, will visit the FUSE meeting in Greenfield to share fire safety tips for your home and special considerations for children with special needs. Topics covered will include basic fire prevention measures, preparing for a fire, and creating a safety and escape plan. Come to learn more about the types of smoke alarms that are available to meet the needs of people with disabilities, what products are available to aid in the evacuation of those with special needs, and ways to help the firefighters better understand your family’s needs in an emergency.

We have a light supper at each meeting, so please register in our new system so we know how much to plan for the food. This month the meal will be pizza and salad. Families are welcome to bring a 2-liter or dessert to share. Child care reservations are also required so we can plan enough caregivers. Please complete the child care section on the registration form if you plan to bring children.
