Traci is presenting Centers for Independent Living 101. Topics include myths about centers for independent living (they’re not a place you live!), what they can do for you or your child, their history, and we’ll have time for questions!
Traci Taylor is the Director of Independent Living Services at The Independent Living Center of Eastern Indiana for the past 8 years. She has been a disability advocate for over 40 years, doing advocacy work in California and Indiana. Traci received her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from California State University, Fresno. She has a strong interest and background in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), accessible housing modifications, and educational accommodations in the K-12 and post secondary education field.

Join us in this session to discover simple techniques that you can use to add calm to your day, anytime, anywhere. The session will be lead by Katherine Murray, M.Div. Katherine is a hospice chaplain and Quaker pastor who facilitates Mindfulness for Health at Hancock Regional Hospital.
