Effective Communication with Providers-Zoom Meeting

FUSE will be hosting the monthly parent support meeting virtually in April! We hope you will join us and our speaker, Allison Coburn on Monday, April 6, 2020 at 6:30 pm to discuss effective communication with providers.

Effective communication between families with children with disabilities and disability-related program staff is a way to promote family engagement and create strong partnerships. In this webinar, you will learn methods of effectively communicating with providers and ways to promote family engagement with your child’s school. Together, we will identify methods for making sure your family feels welcome within your child’s program, we will recognize effective practices for communicating with your child’s teachers, and discuss reasons to communicate with providers. You will also begin to understand the additional roles and responsibilities placed on both families of children with special needs and their teachers.

Allison is a local Developmental Therapist and Behaviorist that specializes in pediatric early intervention services for families with young children with autism (ASD), developmental delays (PDD-NOS), and sensory processing disorder (SPD) provided in their homes, schools, and clinic settings throughout the Central Indiana area. She is also the owner of AEC Child and Family Consulting, LLC.
